This blog deals with an international human rights’ issue, which is the current situation of Child soldiers around the globe. Since decades, children are used by governmental and rebel armed-forces even if conflicts exist or not. Child soldiers are recruited for many matters, please read this following blog in order to learn more about them.

International organisations consider child soldier any person under the age of 18 who is a member of or attached to government armed forces or any other regular or irregular armed forces or armed politicalgroup, whether or not armed conflict exists.
Well, when I was around 10years old I saw a TV reportage which followed three former child soldiers , in this program I could see children the same age than me or even younger, explaining their awful situation. In the interviews they looked completly lost and vulnerable: I was shocked!!
The interveiw which scared me the most was a little old child soldier who described his life conditions when serving as soldier. He said ” The worst thing I had to do, was to kill a child I knew from my village and the rebels ordered us to eat his heart, just removed from his body. We were two kids, went into a cave, took a lot of drug and then ate it. We were six years old.”
Since then, I couldn’t stop thinking of them…

Ton blog est vraiment intéressant… Le sujet est très bien choisi. C’est une triste réalité que peu de gens connaissent ou bien n’y prêtent guère attention.
Ces soldats perdent toute leur enfance et sont marqués à vie ! On ne ressort pas indemne d’une enfance comme celle-là…

Le sujet est véritabelent bien choisi et les illustrations particulierement pertinente permettent de voir à quel point l’enfance peut-être signe de souffrance dans ces pays.

Bravo élo pour ce site qui comporte des informations très pertinentes. Les images parlent d’elles mêmes ce qui est bien dommage. Je crois qu’il n’y a rien a rajouter à tous ce que je viens de voir et de lire. Il faudrait « juste » que les sociétés en prennent conscience et agissent…
